Photos file themselves
Timestamp and location do the sorting, so the photo journal is built by the time you get home — and the rules are conservative on purpose.
- A photo taken at 14:20 near the Blue Ridge Overlook belongs to the Blue Ridge Overlook — and to that day of the trip.
- Attach a photo to any stop or day by hand. Your placements are never overwritten by a later match.
- Nothing matched? It waits in Unsorted rather than landing somewhere wrong.
- Originals are never destroyed, downsampled in place, or locked in. Export or delete them whenever you want.

Changing plan never deletes anything. A downgrade applies the lower limits at the end of the cycle you paid for and makes anything over them read-only.

Before you start a trip
What does the printed book cost?
The book is bought separately from the subscription and quoted before you pay. Softcover is $29.99 and hardcover $49.99, with 20 pages included and $1.50 per extra page. Shipping is passed through at the press’s own cost.
Do I have to pay to see the book?
No. The proof is free on every plan, so you see the whole book laid out on screen before you order anything. The Free plan covers one active trip, 50 photos and one book design for it.
Who built MyTripLogix?
Kairos Software built and runs it. MyTripLogix is our own product, not a client project — the same team that builds custom software for small businesses in Wake Forest, NC.
What happens to my photos?
Trips are private by default. Your originals stay yours — they are never destroyed or downsampled in place, and you can export or delete everything whenever you want.
